Questa fresa monta gli inserti in Metallo Duro ricoperti su un corpo in acciaio. Gli inserti sono bloccati meccanicamente su apposite sedi e sono sfalsati per un'azione di taglio più progressiva. Questo tipo di fresa, che normalmente è costruita su disegno, è indicata per forti asportazioni e può essere impiegata vantaggiosamente solo su macchine fresatrici di adeguata potenza e stabilità. Gli inserti possono essere di vario tipo; questi a forma di quadrilatero possono avere o due o quattro spigoli utili.

This milling cutter has coated carbide insert mounted in a steel body. The inserts are mechanically fixed in a offset position in order to have a gradual cutting action.
This type of milling cutter has made following a special design and it's suitable for very high removal of material. It can used only with very rigid and powerful milling machines.
The inserts can be used several times, in accordance with the shape.
